Silver Springs

It's been busy the last couple of days with all the letterboxing that we have done. Yesterday, we all went with Nitrocat and her two letterboxing nephews to hunt for some of her boxes. She said it was "killing three birds with one stone" because her nephews had never found those boxes, the buddies hadn't found them, and she wanted to make sure that the 700+ people involved in the search for Lisa Stebic hadn't found them either. She said she didn't want to go into details because we were too young, but lots of people had been looking in the preserve for a woman who was missing.
All of the boxes were still at Silver Springs and Nitrocat was happy (although she was mumbling something about "...couldn't have been looking too hard"). We got to see the Spring where the water bubbles up out of the ground. Nitrocat says the Spring never freezes and she let us all get a drink. It was very good and cold!
We also went and found the first box in her adventure series called King's Ransom. It was really neat. You have to go to the King and receive your quest, defeat a dragon and rescue a princess and then claim your reward! The series is in Nitrocat's favorite preserve. We saw a bunch of spiders, but she said I couldn't eat them either, so I forgot what she called them.
Today we went and replanted a box and picked one up that needs a new hiding spot.
More later!
